Picture Requirements and Rejection Reasons

As of our Vision, we care for each small detail of our Website and our customers' experience. Therefore, Image quality is a big deal for us as it represents your brand, your products, and our choice of Designers!

And besides the tech part, we only accept High-quality images for the reasons mentioned above. 

Below are the requirements we hope you follow to upload your products and start selling with us successfully.

This guideline is a part of our Designer’s Terms of Use. By selling on alnol, you agree to this guideline and our Designer’s Terms of Use.

Technical Image Requirements (Designer logo)

Type

Images must be submitted in JPE , JPG or PNG formats only.

Dimensions and Aspect ratio

Image dimensions should be at least 300x300 pixels and maintain a height and width ratio (aspect ratio) of 1

Resolution (DPI)

Resolution should be above or equal to ≥ 75 DPI .

Color Format

RGB/sRGB.

Max file size

The size of the product image must not exceed 1 MB.


Technical Image Requirements (Designer Banner)

Type

Images must be submitted in JPEG or JPG format only.

Dimensions and Aspect ratio

Image dimensions should be at least 1180x660 pixels and maintain a height and width ratio (aspect ratio) of 1.79

Resolution (DPI)

Resolution should be above or equal to ≥ 75 DPI .

Color Format

RGB/sRGB.

Max file size

The size of the product image must not exceed 1 MB.


Technical Image Requirements (Product Images)

We would like you to upload a minimum of 2 high-quality images for your product displaying the following for the customer to know your product well before ordering:

•  Different angles of the product.
•  Sizes
•  Textures and fabrics

The following guidelines will help you (& us) to perfectly reflect your products' quality:

Type

Images must be submitted in  JPEG  or  JPG  format only.

Dimensions and Aspect ratio

Image dimensions should be at least  660x1000 pixels  and maintain a height and width ratio  (aspect ratio) of 0.66

Resolution (DPI)

Resolution  should be above or equal to ≥  75 DPI .

Color Format

RGB/sRGB.

Max file size

The size of the product image must  not exceed 1 MB.



Primary Image Style Requirements
The first thing that the customer sees is the primary images. It is how customers can get an idea of how amazing your products are. The better the picture quality, the better it will reflect your product value, and they are more likely to buy it.

Primary images should display the following:
- A front view of the product.

- Pure white background for all categories.

- Light shadows only are accepted, Hard shadow or reflection cannot be used.

- Must not include multiple views of a single product in a primary image but can be added as other alternate images.

- It must be displayed outside of their packaging.

- Full bundles must be depicted in the primary image if bundled products are sold.

- For the Adults apparel category, it is recommended to have pictures shot on models instead of flat lay shots or images shot on hangers except for swimwear and underwear.

- For the Kids apparel category, it is recommended to have flat lay shots or products shot on hangers.

- The primary image is the most important as it represents the product the customer is going to buy and is the first image customers see on a product page.

- It is essential that the primary image be clear, allowing customers to see all product details. And they must be displayed without packaging, brand, or price tags.

- The Primary images should not be cropped, It must show the entire product for sale.

- Any image which has a portion of the product cropped (missing) will not be allowed as a primary image.

- It is essential to ensure that the primary image should always be a front view of the product, and other angles can be uploaded as alternate images as per the order shared below;

•  Back view
•  Side view
•  Any other angles

All Product Images Requirements
All the additional images that you'll use for your product besides the main image must comply with the following standards:

- Matching the product title and description.

- High resolution and not blurry and pixelated.

- No logos, watermarks, texts, or objects are allowed.

- It should not contain any inappropriate or offensive images.

- Only photographs are permitted; drawings, thumbnails, or illustrations are not allowed.

- Do not upload images that show accessories not included with the item.

- Products need to have good visibility on the images. They need to cover at least 70-80% of the image frame.

- Do not use placeholder images (images that don't show the actual product) such as:
•  Image coming soon
•  No image available
• Sorry, the photo is not available

- Close-up views of the product may be added as additional image variants. - Duplicate or same images must not be uploaded multiple times for the same product. - Images must accurately represent the product and show only the product for sale. - Always use a white background for the first image. - Don’t include borders around your product image. - Hard shadow or reflection should be eliminated from the primary image. - The image must show a clear view of the product being sold.
